More Alcor & CI Collaboration Planned

Last month Alcor was pleased to announce collaboration to develop a master funeral home list. Recently, Alcor and Cryonics Institute (CI) have discussed additional opportunities to improve outcomes for cryonics patients. Alcor plans to allow CI members to use the Alcor Check-In service at the same cost offered to Alcor members, and CI in turn will offer their app to Alcor members.

CI has a free Android-based app on the Google Play Store that is a timer alert system, supporting alarms at regular intervals. Alcor Check-In’s app is similar, but also supports a 24/7 call center to improve notifications to emergency responders and SST providers. Alcor and CI will continue to work together to make both services available to improve cryonic patient outcomes.

The Annual Strategic Board of Directors Meeting will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Out of an abundance of caution the meeting will be broadcast once again through a Zoom Webinar format. Registration for this event and agenda information will be included in the August Newsletter. All members are welcome to attend via Zoom.

Alcor Check-In

Enrollment is open for Alcor Check-In! Be connected to EMTs 24/7 and have additional features through a supporting app. The team of EMTs will call you to check-in at the frequency of your choice (up to once per day) and notify your emergency contacts if needed. Alcor is offering this service at $30 per month.
